Picked this up at the Book Thing recently. This book came with something additional in it, a notecard with a green cover with a herd of cows on it. From Sharon, Jim, and Ken to Gail, and the outside cover says "Hope you'll be back to visit us sooooon!" with a length personal note on the inside. I'll let this travel with the book. I know some folks love this author; I've never read anything by him, though.

It reveals the purpose of the moon, explains the difference between criminals and outlaws, examines the conflict between social activism and romantic individualism, and paints a portrait of contemporary society that includes powerful Arabs, exiled royalty and pregnant cheerleaders. It also deals with the problems of redheads.

I picked up this book today at a BookCrossing Meet-Up. In it was a cow-covered card which we (MaryZee and myself) transferred to another book with cows on its cover! :)
