Journal Entry 2 by zenryaku from South Perth, Western Australia Australia on Tuesday, December 2, 2008
I read this and other Harold Robbins' books many years ago, and possibly if BookCrossing was around then I would have rated it more highly. But having read more widely, I now consider this to be a summer read and somewhat dated.
The cliches and stereotyping were just a bit much, but I completed the book just so that I can say I read it - again!
If you are interested in building motorcars, then some of the historical references may be of interest. But the feud between two families and their respective companies gets a bit tedious after a while.

On bench seat amongst the trees.
This book was found sitting on a park bench by the Swan River by my husband as he waited for me to finish work. I had heard of travelling books before and always hoped to come accross one.
This book will be travelling to the South West of Western Australia and be set free to continue it's journey.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to be part of the travelling book program, we feel honoured.
