Journal Entry 1 by Wasserseele from Hahnstätten, Rheinland-Pfalz Germany on Friday, May 2, 2008
Since Louisiana cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse has so few living relatives, she hates to lose one – even her cousin Hadley, undead consort of the vampire Queen of New Orleans. Hadley's left everything she has to Sookie, but claiming that inheritance has a high risk factor. Some people don't want her loking too deeply into Hadley's past, or Hadley's possessions. And they're prepared to do anything in their power to stop her. Whoever it is, they're definitely dangerous – and Sookie's life is definitely on the line...

Not Definitely Dead but Living Dead from Groß-Umstadt finally realized that she hadn´t made a journal entry. Thanks for all the reminders, thank You a lot more for Your patience, I apololgize a thousand time.

Sooky is ready to travel again.

Journal Entry 4 by SaschaBWk from Hamburg - Barmbek, Hamburg Germany on Sunday, February 8, 2009
Sookie found shelter with a friendly neighbour. The postman left no notice about it for me so she didn't get to me until today. But now she is here and I'm looking forward to reading her newest adventure.

Journal Entry 5 by SaschaBWk from Hamburg - Barmbek, Hamburg Germany on Saturday, February 14, 2009
I get more and more the feeling, that I am no longer really interested in Sookies adventures. The passages about clothes, make up and money irritate me more than in the beginning. I still enjoy the supernatural parts but all this romance/ chicklit stuff gets on my nerves. I am just not the type for it. Since the next book is already here, I'll give it another try.

On its way to delfinnetti.

Journal Entry 7 by wingdelfinnettiwing from Netphen, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Monday, February 23, 2009
I managed to liberate the book out of my "Packstation". Thank you for sending the book out as a Ring! Due to a flood of rings (yesterday: 3, today 2) this book will have to wait for a bit - it´s the second in line... (they allways come in flogs!).

Edit 03.03.2009:
I don´t know what to think about Quinn. He seems nice and sexy, but he works for the queen... He might be under orders, too. Sookie could get over Bill sometime soon - it starts to be irritating! I´d love to know more about the fairy-goodmother thing...

Spoiler in white - mark to read:
This time there were some littel jumps in the plot - allways only two or three pages - but that was irritating. It is a bit suspicious, that Sookie and Quinn get interrupted EVERY time they are alone! I think that was overdoing it.

Like other readers mentioned before. Some things are overdoing it. Nevertheless I am still in love with Sookie and her chaotic life.

The book arrived two weeks ago accompanied by its sequel. Sorry for not journaling it earlier. I already finished it and again it brought some adventure and excitement to my own "dull normal" life. Thank you, Sookie!

Update by Schneefee from Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Tuesday, August 04, 2009
Es ist erst S.65 und ich habe schon etwas zu bemäkeln:

I looked at Sam, and he looked back at me sadly. "It's hard, isn't it, cher?" he said.

Journal Entry 16 by Schneefee from Hagen, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Monday, August 24, 2009
totally agree to delfinnetti! Can't say anything else.

Besides - the cherie-thing came out right somewhere later in the book (I had marked the page, but lost the bookmark when reading the book in my parents' garden just yesterday and I couldn't find the right page now, hmpf), so now I'm completely confused why they spelled it wrong at the beginning of a book and did it right just about 100 pages later in the same book?

Meanwhile Sook's already on her way to UbSiA since susiuni is moving. Pls don't forget to ask her at a later date!

Journal Entry 17 by rem_QQD-730725 on Wednesday, September 23, 2009
Yes, there comes the next!!! Really looking forward to it, but since I'm moving once again, it will have to wait a bit...

14/11/2009: Another typical Sookie story - but I still really enjoy reading them! Already started the next episode and will send both on as soon as I finished that one. ;-) Thanks to all of you for being so patient.

Heute kam ein ganzes Sookie-Paket :-)

Journal Entry 21 by ekaterin4luv at Nürnberg, Bayern Germany on Sunday, February 13, 2011
Mhm, a tiger, what a promising thought! And it was not such a patchwork plot as the last book, but more or less a big plot with sidelines.
Though I have to say that I was a bit disconcerted that especially crucial relevations got shoved into an aftherthought and unimportand plotbunnies were allowed to run free, so to speak.
