Angie's Bookcrossing Slam
16 journalers for this copy...
I am starting this out on March 26, 2003, Lets see how long we can keep it moving!
Received this fun "slam" from Angie today....what a great way to see who wants to trade books! I'll be passing it along to an unsuspecting BookCrosser!
I just got this in the mail today. I think it could be fun. I wish the two previous slammers had rated the books they listed as ones they had read. Then I would know if I wanted to go to any effort to read them also. It does let you know who has reading tastes similar to your own I guess.
I was surprised that the journal was mailed to me all the way from eastern parts after only two entries from that neck of the woods. And not from anyone I really have had any dealings with either. I recognize Amused Ones name from the forums but I don't think I have even seen grover3d's name before. I know I never traded anything with either of them but perhaps this is the beginning of better things between us.
I will be more than happy to answer all the questions and probably say some more stuff too, like: How you came to be a BookCrosser. That's what I would like to know from others. And, What have you done to encourage others to be more active? I'd like to know that so I could copy their success. Hey, I want this Journal to come back to me, too.
Hugs,
Granny Coy.

thanks coystr. for sending me this slam book...
I will try to pass it along around Europe before it will be going back to the USA
Later I will tell you more.
Okay, I just finish the journal with my entry and I put together a small list of members from Europe, the slam will come back to me again, because I offer to sent it back to the States or Canada again.
The List of the members is inside the book.
Please be fair and pass it along as soon as possible.
thanks again Angie for starting this slam.

The Slam arrived while I was on my well earned summer vacation. :)
It was great fun to read all the entries. I'll try to write my bit asap and mail it to the next one.
Thanks Jenny and Angie, of course.
Update: I kept this for too long, but it's on its way to the next person on the list.

Awfully sorry about the delay in journalling, but it came to my parents' house, a good 500 km from where I live... And when I got here, and had some time, our internet connection broke down. Oh well, I've done my bit and will send it off today (probably). Great fun!
Moved along today, finally. Have fun!
The journal has just arrived, promises to make a fun read - thanks everybody! I will be reading it and thinking what to write and then mailing it to robbiesmum, probably next week.
It was lovely to read this and realize how many people I have "met" and gotten to know a little bit through bookcrossing, both past journalers of this book and future ones. Hello to everybody!
I have just mailed this to robbiesmum in the UK.

Thanks for letting me take part! It really was fun to read all the other entries and to do mine.
