I really enjoyed reading this misterious book. There's a lot of Kafka into it, in my opinion. I think it became my favourite from Paul Auster. Thanks a lot for sharing it butterfly-noir!

I've PMed marko167.

What a strange but good book. Very reminiscent of New York trilogy. Also of Waiting for the Barbarians by Coetzee.

SPOILER WARNING -

Whilst reading away I found myself wondering who Mr Blank was, my favourite theory being that he was the author of the short tale brought alive to complete the story years after he had died.

Thanks for sharing.

I was slower than usual in catching on this time! It's typical Paul Auster, though. I always enjoy his books. They're such wonderful puzzles. I've PMed you, butterfly-noir - I hope you got it. Sometimes my PMs are a little unreliable. Just let me know if you do want me to return the book to you or if you're going to open the ring again.
