Libby's husband is divorcing her to marry his new lawyer, so Libby moves her and her teen daughter to Cleveland to reopen the knitting shop that her estranged mother left her. Libby knows nothing about knitting, but does understand business, and some of her mother's friends show up to help out, and she learns more about her mother's life. Teen Meghan as expected, acts out a lot, but of course, everything works out with no dire consequences
