I bought this book at the Friends of the Library Booksale for 50 cents.
It is on my wishlist so I was pretty excited to find it.

Moore's novel is told from the perspective of four different characters, Helen the incarcerated prisoner, Dr. Louise Forrest the head psychiatrist at the women's prison, corrections officer Captain Ike Bradshaw, and Angie the up and coming television/movie star who becomes strangely liked to all of the aforementioned characters. It was hard to get used to Moore's style of writing at first because the characters would change after as little as a paragraph, but the characters' voices were so unique and recongnizeable that the abrupt changes began to occur naturally. This is a brutally honest tale of different levels of intimacy between people and ultimately a portrayal of psychological breakdown.

I decided not to read this book. Mt. TBR is trying to take over the house, so I need to cull the herd. This book is ready to travel.
