Picked book up cheap at Dorking library and this author always interests me knowing that she is a murderer in real life and went to the same girls school that I went to.

A quick read and was an OK read but I found the characters in the book to be slightly unbelievable. The story was set in the Lake district where I visited in May last year. The story had a moral overtone similar to A Christmas Guest which I had also read recently.
I normally find this author to be heavy going but the Christmas stories are quite light. I recently read a bio about the author and was slightly amused by her denial of her past.
