I was buying a couple of books for someone who needed cheering up and as I needed cheering up myself after the sudden death of a friend and colleague, I trawled the 50% off bin for some quirky book titles.

I really enjoyed the Travel version of this series on a Greyhound journey from Atlanta to Savannah and I hope this one is just as interesting and easy to read.

I enjoyed reading snippets and snappets of this book over the last year and particularly liked the last section dealing with the tyrants and despots. I took it with me to the British Uncovention in Edinburgh. The Uncovention is the UK alternative to the official Bookcrossing Convention which is held somewhere in the world every year. It's a lovely way to meet other literary minded folk who enjoy wildly releasing their books and I finished reading the very last chapter as the plane touched down in London. Will find somewhere appropriately historical to release the book at some point.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Thrown from the fourth plinth along with four other books. I was lucky enough to be selected for Antony Gormley's art project One and Other and chose to wander about chattering to people while listening to music and throwing books.
