I really enjoyed this book. It is a kid's book - mid to upper primary school, but it is really well written.
Three children become orphans and have to go live with their evil uncle. He is after their inheritence and will stop at nothing to get it. The children devise various schemes to get away.
This is deliciously scarey and delightfully written. Kids would love it.

It was left in a really good spot near the water. Saw it... picked it up and thought cool a book... think its a great idea. Found the book about 1.30pm to 2pm... maybe just after it was left...

Found the book at a bus stop. Read to husband to help him get off to sleep. Will give to my kids who are travelling into the CBD Sydney today and hopefully some traveler will pick up and take with them.
