Journal Entry 1 by Kyrissaean from Littleton, New Hampshire USA on Thursday, April 10, 2008
These books are great naughty pleasures -- total candy! They have their faults, but overall they're terribly addicting. So far books 2-4 were my favorites, but the whole series is a hoot! A few things about this book have been a bit controversial with some of the fans. I can see why -- I might have wanted a thing or two to go a slightly differently myself -- but overall it just goes to show how involved people can get in this series! Well, I do have a big complaint actually. Ward's not writing fast enough!!! :P Book Description The ruthless and brilliant brother Vishous possesses a destructive curse and a frightening ability to see the future. As a member of the Brotherhood, he has no interest in love or emotion, only the battle with the Lessening Society. But when a mortal injury puts him in the care of a human surgeon, Dr. Jane Whitcomb compels him to reveal his inner pain and taste true pleasure for the first time-until a destiny he didn't choose takes him into a future that does not include her... ********************************** And now this Unbound Lover is bounding off too.... My May Day Partner! Happy May Day! Happy Spring! :D

Hi May Day Fairy!! :) Can you believe that I am addicted to this series and I still haven't read any of the novels? It's all the fault of everyone on BookObsessed. They keep talking about it and raving... :P Book 1 has made it to my home already and 2,3,4 are on their way. I want to read them one right after the other and it will happen soon, I hope. Thank you for this lovely book. It was a wonderful addition to the May Day Exchange. You are a very sweet Fairy, Kyri! lots of hugs and smooches, Lemmy

Journal Entry 3 by Lemonitsa from Montréal, Québec Canada on Sunday, June 28, 2009
Update on the status of the BDB at my house: I finished #1 sometime near the end of last year. This summer was supposed to see the series read... well, for the past 1 1/2 weeks I have binged on the warriors and I am addicted. Completely. I started this one, #5, last night, but haven't got far since the day has not left me much reading time. Books 2-4 were fantastic. So far #3 is my fave and I've been in love with Z since the middle of #2, though I am starting to crush on Vishous and that scares me... just a little. I have heard that this book was a bit controversial but I have a habit of hurting myself, so I'm going full steam ahead. I'll be back in a couple of days to let you know how I fared. :) July 06- I finished this book 2-3 days ago. I have to say that I was exhausted in the end. It was fantastic. It was brutal. It did not hold back anything and is probably my fave now. I adore Vishous. I hurt for him and cry for him and will defend him always. "Dark and tormented" was a phrase made for him. This is one of those books that needs to be read again. And I will. (finished)
