Talk to the Hand- The Utter Bloody Rudeness of the World Today, or Six Good Reasons to Stay Home and Bolt the Door

hmmm it wasn't as good as Eats Shoots & Leaves
Thanks for this lovely book Rita-Booke! The cover is really funny and it looks like a cute little book... looks promising! :-) Thank you!
I have to admit that I found the beginning a bit boring and I was already thinking this would be one of those books that you keep on your bedside table for months... forcing yourself to read a page each night. ;-)
But no, no such thing... it turned out to be an amusing read, finished in a few days time!
Thanks again for the book Rita-Booke, it'll move on to another bookcrosser soon. :-)

Thank you so much, Whitehorsy, it arrived safely... and promptly!
Looking forward to reading it; I have read one of this writer's short stories in a collection, and was quite determined to find out more...
I love the kangaroo postcard, thanks a lot; and I really like what you've done with the envelope!
All my best,
Eva

Well, not as funny as I imagined, and I beg to differ with Ms Truss's opinion about how polite the French are compared to the British people.
I have never been to France, but I have lived and worked in London for six years, and I have always been amazed at the people's good manners and politeness. Yes, of course, there are exceptions... but not enough to make you stay at home!
Having said that, this is a good read, quite entertaining; some passages by the end were quite funny, particularly the section about film / song quotes.
I am sending this to the winner of the January INTL Sweepstakes; enjoy!

thank you for this book - I read Eats, Shoots and Leaves a few years ago and I'm looking forward to this one.
I'd read this before but enjoyed it a second time around - a quick read and entertaining. What is interesting is that it was written pre-Facebook and how much we've moved on in terms of technology even in a few years. Will probably wild release now.
