Blind to the Bones

Book no.4 in the Cooper and Fry series of books set in the Peak district.
I really enjoyed this one, and got drawn into it quite quickly.
The ending was so good, that I had to pick up book 5 straight away to see how it was resolved!
Am passing this on to a friend of Vespa's at the convention so that she can read them all in order.
Hope you enjoy it!

I met with Jillbe this morning and handed over a ransom of chocolate cake and coffee in return for this book and 3 others in the series. I have requested the first in the series via bookmooch and as soon as it arrives I will make a start on them.
Thank you so much for letting me read them in order

I found this book much slower than the others to get into - it was a bit fragmented I thought. I also got cross at the bit where the author says Derbyshire is the only county where well dressing takes place ....having lived all my life in Dorset, and having spent my childhood taking part in well dressing ceremonies and garland days, I can assure him Derbyshire is not the only county where it still happens today - sorry it is a pet hate of mine when authors make statements of fact that are untrue :-)
Anyway, I'm still looking forward to book 5, which I intend to make a start on later this evening

i've offered these books around as a spiral for some time now with no takers, so the time has come to release them . Jillbe brought these back from the UnConvention, so I'm putting them in a box heading her way for her to read or release as she wishes

Thank you, jillbe. How typical of me to ask for a book in the middle of a series!! It looks like I'll have to hunt for the first ones before I can get to this. I chose it because it was Derbyshire. The East Midlands is under-represented in literature. I think.

How creepy is Witherns?! Very good Stephen Booth as usual.

I really enjoyed and now I'm looking forward to :
1 - reading the other books in the series.
2 - touring the Peak district.
Not necessarily in that order.
Thank you so much.

On its way to from in Athens who took it from the "Reading it, want it? European edition thread" on RABCK forum.
I have just received this book by sweet Icila, through the Reading-It-Want-It-European-Edition RABCK, and I am impatient to start reading it!
I have really enjoyed this murder investigation story by Stephen Booth!
Now it is time to let it free to travel, and spread the joy!!!
I am sending it to sweet Lubiette the lucky winner of the Tea & Mystery sweepstake of November 2016 (along with some flavored tea bags!) hoping that it will keep her some nice company too!

Thank you so much for this book, assortment of tea bags and delicious toffees ! I really enjoy the Arkas bookmark too :)
I had a hard time getting into the story but after page 100, I couldn't put it down. A very goog thriller, indeed. Now trying to get hold of the other volumes :)
