(blurb)
A Viking raid
they claimed they came in peace, but soon Lindisfarne was aflame. Annis of Birdoswald fled in fear, but she could not escape the Norse warriors.
An honourable captor
One man protected her - Haakon Haroldson. The dark, arrogant Viking swept Annnis back to his homeland, taking her away from all she held dear.
A new life - as his mistress!
Now Annis must choose between the lowly work that befits a captive, or a life of sinful pleasur in the Viking's arms!

I might bump this up my reading list so it can be released in Lindisfarne this summer. I hope it's as good as the last Mills & Boon Historical I read. I haven't read a Viking one before though, sounds ok...but it's a shame he isn't a blond :o)

Oh dear...I was expecting to really enjoy this book after having recently thoroughly enjoying a M&B Regency Romance, but it wasn't to be!
It was a passable story but nothing gripping....I was hoping for lots of hunky blond Vikings but it wasn't to be either, ah well...
Not sure whether it is an appropiate book to leave on Lindisfarne after reading it but will take it with me & we'll see where it finishes up. Well, we will as longer as some kind booklover journals it :o)

This book will be setting off on it's travels to Northumberland in early July.
As it's tale begins on Lindisfarne, that's where it's headed...but will it get there?
Well, if you're reading this, then you've found it & you can tell us!
Please take a minute to say where it was discovered...
