A fantastic romp through a world where past mythology meets the present and you're not quite sure what's going to happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and it's the perfect length to dive in and out of at lunch breaks, though I would rather have read it all continuously!

Definitely one of Holt's better tales. Vikings, magic, and fighting with a good dose of laughs. Once again I was sniggering on the train on the way to work, and really not caring - very funny, very clever and very satisfying.
