From St Christophers. Looks like perfect reading for the plane.

(Edited to add:
I had high hopes for this book. It sounded so interesting - a travelogue about "some of the lonely places of the world", isolated geographically, politically, or culturally. But somehow it failed to deliver on its promise, and I found much of it faintly boring - a pity, as the author was writing about some fascinating countries. But at least I'm turning this travel book into a travelled book, because it's accompanied me half way around the world so far, destined for release in the UK.)
