Oof. This is a bit of a mental book. For a start, it is completely chapter free. It is just one, long, stream-of-consciousness monologue from a confused and slightly drunk Scottish bloke. I can appreciate that it was well-written, and it had enough in it to keep me interested, but it was a little heavy going at times. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I'd had time to sit down and read large chunks of it at a time, rather than little tube journey sized sections. Definitely different, I'll give it that.
