I loved this book it was a page turner!!!!

FROM THE PUBLISHER
Until now, Kathryn Lyons's life has been peaceful if unextraordinary: a satisfying job teaching high school in the New England mill town of her childhood; a picture-perfect home by the ocean; a precocious, independent-minded fifteen-year-old daughter; and a happy marriage whose occasional dull passages she attributes to the unavoidable deadening of time. As a pilot's wife, Kathryn has learned to expect both intense exhilaration and long periods alone — but nothing has prepared her for the late-night knock that lets her know her husband has died in a crash. As Kathryn struggles with her grief, she descends into a maelstrom of publicity stirred up by the modern hunger for the details of tragedy. Even before the plane is located in waters off the Irish coast, the relentless scrutiny of her husband's life begins to bring a bizarre personal mystery into focus. Could there be any truth to the increasingly disturbing rumors that he had a secret life?

I really enjoyed this book. It is a page turner, very easy to read. A couple of times I got confused when the story went back in time. You really feel for Kathryn, all the emotions this tragedy lets loose. Quite an emotional roller coaster.
Thanks for sharing.

This was a great book. As everyone else has said, it was definitely a page turner, particularly when the mystery surrounding Jack begins to unfold. Also, the author did a fantastic job of conveying Kathryn and Mattie's grief. Saving this one to put in a bookbox coming my way soon.

Wow! Thanks for the big surprise package today, CB6. What a blast to come home from errands and find a big, juicy package full of books...and especially this one (copies of which I've released many, many times and yet have never read) as I see it has been loved and sent around the country. I'll give it a read and then RABCK it on to someone else. Thanks again for your special generosity, L. Have a beautiful spring!

Many Cheers,
M (poobah1 from Minnesota)
