Journal Entry 1 by book-man-8 from Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Saturday, March 29, 2008
Edit, April 19: The best sentence in this book: "Death by doughnuts." The male part is again the kind that makes all the female readers swoon and dream... A touch too much perfect - but it sells! Journal Entry 4 by Plum-crazy from Brighouse, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Monday, June 02, 2008

Question: What do you do on a very wet, miserable June Sunday morning? Answer: You stay in & read Naughty Neighbour....& what fun it was! Yes, I put down the book I was reading because I couldn't resist starting this (no surprise there eh?) I loved these characters. Louisa's suicide plans made me laugh & Pete, to me definitely had a touch of Morelli about him (no bad thing!)....shame Kurt was no Ranger :o( It's now part of the 2008 KEEP THEM MOVING CHALLENGE (#39) & will be on it's way to naturalone shortly.....hope the rest of you enjoy it as much as I did!

Journal Entry 8 by Cross-patch from Leicester, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Saturday, August 23, 2008
Apologies for the terrible long time I took - no excuses, I was just slow. I can see where Morelli came from in the wonderful Pete. I don't think I cared about the Pig Affair as long as Pete was in the frame! Thank you, book-man-8 for sharing your book; it is now on the way to Kera.

thanx for sending it! it may take me a little while to read it ( i planned to read this before my daughter was born but she decided to get started a week early) but it's on top of the list now! - finished reading and sent off by surface, will take some weeks, since i separated a couple of months ago i found it was too unrealistically romantic for my hormone shaken early maternity state, thanx for sharing!

Journal Entry 12 by southernfryed from Lexington, South Carolina USA on Monday, October 20, 2008
This book just arrived in my mailbox today:) Can't wait to read it! It will be next up-have to finish my current book. Thanks for sharing. 10/27/08 In the beginning of this book, there is a note from Janet Evanovich telling you that this book was one of 9 books oringinally published between 1988 and 1992. She states that she has edited the books to modernize them some like changing VHS to DVD. I was disappointed in her changes-sometimes it makes more since to leave the wording as it is written. On a more positive note, this was light mindless read which I needed. I will put this book in the mail to top-tappser on my next trip to the post office.

Cute, quick read. Fits the Evanovich formula. Not nearly as many laughs as Stephanie Plum.

Typical Evanovich tale. This could easily have been a Stephanie Plum book, but without Grandma. I've enjoyed it. == The journal entry with the mailing order seems to have changed. I've PM'd book-man-8 for advice on who to send to next. The book will be on it's way shortly.

Journal Entry 24 by collectorkerri from Springfield, Illinois USA on Monday, January 19, 2009
Another funny "vintage" Janet Evanovich. This was the first one of her older books I've read that didn't have a proto-Grandma Mazur character, and I missed it. Reliably funny and good for a diversion. Lisabb2 asked to be skipped, so I spent almost as much as the book is worth sending it to Iceland. Oh, well. Enjoy your further travels around Europe, little book!

Journal Entry 26 by Bjorg from Reykjavík, Reykjavík (Höfuðborgar svæðið) Iceland on Saturday, February 14, 2009
This was the first book I read by Janet Evanovich and the last one as well!!! Seems like all the readers before me really like this book but I thought it was so frustrating and silly....perhaps I´m just too bitter for a book like this??? I did not like it at all, thought it was too silly to be funny and all this sexual tension between them, it was so lame...come on!!!.....SORRY!!!!!!!!!!! Will mail it to penelopewanders as soon as I´ve got the address:)

Not as funny as Crusie or SEP, although she sure would like to be. Continued as it began, so far Evanovich has yet to win me over. Nonetheless a quick fun read. Thanks for sending it my way.

Journal Entry 32 by Releanna from Wien Bezirk 23 - Liesing, Wien Austria on Sunday, April 05, 2009
well, I'm not much into romance stories, and I found this one a nice read but not more. IMO there would have been more possibilities to elaborate the plot-idea with the pig. It starts funny and suspenseful but then it kind of fizzles out. As to the love story I'm pretty much of the same opinion as Bjorg. I really liked the suicide-plans and the grandmother can travel on to MsTeddy as soon as I get her address

Just returned from holiday to find this one waiting for me. I'm glad I'm at the end of the line as it will probably be some time before I get to it, but I'm sure it won't take long once I start. I think I would term this Janet Evanovich lite. A thin little book not nearly as good as her later works, but a fun light read anyway. Grandma Brannigan has similar qualities to Stephanie Plum's grandma, with the possible exception of attending funerals. Will post this on the bookring/ray forum and see if there are any takers. Thanks again for sharing.
