Box arrived today. Thanks so much for including me. I'll go through it when I return from L.A. on Monday (I leave tomorrow morning) and will mail it on to the next in line sometime next week.

Think I will have to replace the box. I'll try to copy what was written on the flaps. (Was a perfect box, too, what with the flower on the outside!)

Journal Entry 6 by KimKerry from Prescott, Arizona USA on Tuesday, June 17, 2008
I had four books set aside for this box, but I was unable to finish one of them, Molokai by Alan Brennert. So, I took three books and put in three books.

I took:
Of Love and Other Demons by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Never Change by Elizabeth Berg
The Night Journey by Elizabeth Crook
(I'll journal them as soon as I'm done here.)

I put in:
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
Sweetness in the Belly by Camilla Gibb
Sufficient Grace by Darnell Arnoult

I did not take or add to the bookmark/note card package, but I did put it in a larger ziplock bag.

I'll mail this off to msjoanna via media mail tomorrow. I'll add the DC# here once I receive it.
Edited to add:
Delivery Confirmation: 0307 0020 0003 4531 7034

So - I finally made my choices. This bookbox was excellent. Also, thank you to the person who added the BC patch! I've removed it and added a couple BC pencils plus a bookmark. I really enjoyed looking through all these books. I actually had fun looking for the flowers pictured on the covers. Some were more obvious, others more subtle. Great idea to do these themed Bookboxes, sweetsangria. Keep them coming!

I removed:

The God of Small Things
The Village Bride of Beverly Hills
Tirra Lirra by the River
A Little Too Much is Enough
Thursdays at Eight

I added:

The Ruins
The Pirate's Daughter
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
The Samurai's Garden
Love In The Time of Cholera

I have jenptcfan's address, and I'll be mailing this in a few days. I'll journal again with the delivery confirmation #.
