'A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing...
Innocent in the ways of the world, an ingenue when it comes to pop and fashion, the Elect of God of a small but committed Stirlingshire religious cult: Isis Whit is no ordinary teenager.
When her cousin Morag - Guest of Honour at the Luskentyrian's four-yearly Festival of Love - disappears after renouncing her faith, Isis is marked out to venture among the Unsaved and bring the apostate back into the fold. But the road to Babylondon (as Sister Angela puts it) is a treacherous one, particularly when Isis discovers that Morag appears to have embraced the ways of the Unsaved with spectacular abandon...'

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
At the meet up at McDonalds at the corner of 4th and C SW.
I've tried to get into this one on three different occasions but it's not holding my interest. Hopefully it will find a more appreciative reader.
Thank you for picking up this book & I hope you enjoy it. You have not only found yourself a book, but a whole community of book-lovers dedicated to sharing books with each other and the world at large.
I hope you will make a journal entry letting me know that this book has found a good home with you. You can do this anonymously if you wish. When you finish the book, please visit here again and share what you thought about the book.
Feel free to read and keep the book, or pass it on to a friend, or even set it free 'in the wild' for someone else to find like you did.
If you register you will be alerted by email each time someone makes another journal entry. It's completely confidential (you're known only by your screen name and no-one is ever given your email address), totally free, and spam-free.
If you do decide to join BookCrossing, please tell them that cat207 sent you.

I had a great time at today's meet up with the traveling BCers from Australia, and this book came home from the gathering with me.
While I have enjoyed other titles by Iain Banks, and this one does look interesting, it simply isn't the type of book I've been interested in reading lately, and I don't see it rising to the top of my TBR pile anytime soon, so it is time for it to move along. I'm including it in a box of books I'm mailing off to help stock a new OBCZ.
This book is an inaugural addition to the book exchange at The Bristol, here in Charleston, SC. It was sent by my friend, ResQGeek and received with much gratitude. I love that it's been through other BookCrossers, along the way, and started the journey down under. Plus, it's a SIGNED Iain Banks, and one I haven't read. It may take a detour to my TBR pile first. Thanks for sending!

I can’t believe someone trashed a signed copy of a book with all these stickers. Took away all the enjoyment of reading an Iain Banks book. Boo hiss.
