Journal Entry 1 by KateKintail from Burke, Virginia USA on Thursday, March 27, 2008
Bought at a library used book sale. This is a fantastic, emotional book. It won a Newbery Medal, which was much-deserved, IMHO. This is the amazing story of Louise and her twin sister Caroline. It's a book about nature and humanity, about family and people, about coming of age and overcoming obstacles to come into your own. My twin sister was adored by everyone but me- the one who should have loved her best.
