The middle of the book got boring but the storyline was interesting. Should have known how it would end as I believe I saw the movie version long ago. Interestingly, I am now reading Choke and on page 72 - Palahniuk made a reference to Dorian Gray.
TBR...1001 book
I really thought this book was good, but I am only giving it 7 stars because the first 50 pages (and there are only 165) where totally boring. But the rest of the book was great - I was not expecting the kind of story it turned out to be.
Great choice off the 1001 list, can see why it is on there. Would recommend.

It took a long time for me to get into this book. Once I did I really enjoyed the story. Very surprised by it and enjoyed it a lot more that I thought I would. Would've gotten an 8 but it took too long for the story to grab my attention.

Finished! Overall, I was quite disappointed. As mentioned before, it can get quite boring once in a while. In the beggining and around the middle I had to force myself to get to read it. I actually enjoyed all the "philosophy", but thought it was kind of misplaced. There were parts in which I felt temptated to skip a few paragraphs and then, all of a sudden, something happened and all the "action" was centered right there. However it is a story that had lots of potential... if only Wilde had focused on developing the subject :) I particularly liked the "Sibyl Vane" part - and the end (although I totally saw it coming :P).
I've received disneyfreaksam's address and will post it during this week (hopefully - because it's raining cats and dogs here, and I still have to walk 15m. 'till the post office). Thanks for sharing ChiBoiler! :)
PS- I'm not sure why, but I kept imagining Dorian Gray as the actor Jamie Campbell-Bower 8)

Enjoyable read and glad I did read it. It shows the total and utter hypocrisy of the upper classes in their behaviour and beliefs.
Waiting on an address and then I will get it away.
