I just loved this book. It must be my favourite read for 2008 so far. The twists were unexpected and it was just so interesting. I have leant it to a friend here in my town to quickly read before posting it over to Nadezda (I hope you will not mind the weeks delay!!).

Just finished the book. I loved it! So much better than I expected, I should have read it sooner. Actually I liked the book so much I bought it in Finnish for my permanent collection :)

The book came my way over the table and I did not let it pass. I have heard good things about this book and I hope I have time during Christmas days to read it. Thank you for the book!
What a fashinating story with many twists and turns! You never guess what comes next. Who is the hunter and who is the catch. Thank you for the book, Nikkilovesbooks and Nadezda! I must find new readers for the book soon.

Journal Entry 11 by lukutuoli from Tampere, Pirkanmaa / Birkaland Finland on Thursday, August 6, 2009
What a surprise! Annelis had brought this book straight into my mailbox while visiting Tampere today - thank you! I caught this book from the Finnish book relay.
This was the first book by Sarah Waters for me and I really liked her fluent text! This book managed to surprise me again and again, the twists and turns were great. I started to suspect all the characters towards the end of the book! I hope, that the BC-wishlists will work properly soon, to see, who might be the next reader for this book...

my wife really liked the book. There are many twists and turns in there. Certainly something to tell other people to read too.
It was so nice we now have our own copy at home, so this one is allowed to travel on.
