I've already finished reading it in the hotel but actually didn't want to release in in the "real" wild, since it'd be a pity if it gets thrown away by any Park- or Tube- Cleaning Squad.

A really lovely fantasy book for children, I've enjoyed reading it a lot and it definitely deserves more readers, so since I know that learning English is forced now at my former school I will take it there next week.

Well, since I didn't like the way my former headmaster pointed out the elitism of "his" new school I took the books home again until I will one day - maybe - get the chance to speak to the teacher that runs the library for the lower grades personally. Really, I detested that man even when I was in school, but he's definitely grown worse in the last 10 years.

Thanks, the book arrived here a few days ago, but with Easter and al, I forgot to journal it. But I did read it already!
I found it entertaining but not spectacular. It's a little bit too childish for me. Of course that can happen with a children's book! :)

Some time ago I spent a year in Yorkshire and visited York and the Jorvik Centre. This Book brought back some memories. The story is not outstanding, but nice enough.
