First, this book does not have the dark cover. It has the original red cover with Julian's book on the front.

I read this story when it came out. It is the prequel to the Dark Hunter series. If you have already read those books and are now reading this one, you're in for a surprise. To me, Sherrilyn Kenyon has gone a little crazy in the later books (Dark Side of the Moon, Devil May Cry, and the Dream Hunter books). Re-reading this book was refreshing and reminded me what her stories were like. Unlike the sbome of the ooks that follow, this one deals more with the relationship between Grace and Julian than the mythology, though it is present. I loved this story. And I trust this book will have a wonderful new home with red-hotbrat. Enjoy!
