Down the pitted road from the Irish harbour village of Ballycaveen nestles a ramshackle house. Behind it, like a ribbon wrapping a special parcel, runs a narrow river where swans swim...

Heron's Cove...

To Troy, who has inherited it from his spinster aunt, it is in a setting no less than paradise...

To Alina, it is a retreat from the outside world where she can convalesce from a serious accident...

To Troy's elder sister Steffie, it's a place to experience the exhaustion of motherhood-before she even has a child....

And to their brother Ivo, it is a magical landscape where the energy of the summers spectacular electrical storms offers the only release he know....

I saw that a fellow book crosser had released some books at a charity shop nearby so I decided to go and see what books they had on sale, I decided not to look and see which books had been released there as book crossing is, after all, about serendipity so I went and browsed and picked two books I liked the look of and two of them turned out to be book crossing ones. I've never seen this book before and haven't read any others by this author so I'll put this on Mt. TBR and see what I think of it before releasing it agai.
