Mansfield Park & Northanger Abbey
2 journalers for this copy...
Bought in The Works, this is a 2 books in 1, complete and unabridged versions.
Mansfield Park:
I enjoyed this, not Pride and Prejudice or Emma by any means, but an interesting enough book. Fanny is probably the most timid of Austen's heroines, but at least she knows her mind, even when others are trying to pressure her in other directions. 7/10
Northanger Abbey:
A quick read, a very sweet book. That sounds very patronising, but I mean that I really got into the characters. The naive, but well-meaning heroine and her love for Henry, a good man. Once again, a seemingly timid girl, but with metal underneath. 8/10
