'I used to worry endlessly that I was some kind of freak, that my preoccupation with sex made me different from other women and isolated me from my friends. So I started a diary; I wanted to be able to freely express all my fantasies, concerns and actual experiences of sex. What I learned - to my surprise - was that I am no different to other women; I am just vocalising what so many others think about privately.'
Abby is in her thirties, works in the arts and lives in London. This is her first book.

This book is very explicit about sex, but not in a sleazy way. Abby likes having sex, but she also encounters the problems of most single women, like: does he like me as much as I like him?
