Another accidental double which I'm planning on releasing. I haven't read it yet, but I've had a number of recommendations.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left with the maps and guides and things, outside the station if you don't want to pay to enter the BART system. I'm really hoping that someone will pick this book up, since I know that this isn't a great place to leave a book and it's likely to end up in a lost-and-found or a garbage can. (If you're interested and can't find it, please ask if it's in the lost-and-found: I have occasionally found books that way.) I did try to find some public space like a coffee shop (Starbucks, you're failing at your line-of-sight strategy) or anything else, but after some wandering couldn't find anything, and had a plane to catch.

I'd released this one in the states, since I'd thought Guterson was a Canadian author, but after some cursory research it looks like he's not. (We're usually pretty quick to claim authors if they've spent any time at all in Canada, and it's possible he did. I suspect the book would have been a bit different if it were Canadian, although this discussion involves spoilers--feel free to PM me if you're interested in chatting about this!) Canadian or American, I really enjoyed the book. The reviews describe it as atmospheric; I think maybe even cinematic. Character development was detailed, and the plot was an interesting framework to hang all of it on. I highly recommend this book, and really hope that someone finds it and it and this copy doesn't go to waste.
