WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
This is a collection of 6 short stories which are a mixture of science fiction and fantasy:
1. Pheonix in the Ashes - to me this was like a chick lit story, and although I do enjoy a good chick lit story, not when I am in the mood for what is supposed to be science fiction.
2. Voices From the Dust - "two scientists gripped by an alien power, find themselves the helpless puppets of destruction". I ending ruine dit for me.
3. The Storm King - "potent forces of Erath magic do battle against a monster of the soul's dark night" a fairy tale.
4. The Peddler's Apprentice - "peril and power in the quest for arcane knowledge" I found it quite boring.
5. Psiren - this is a sequel to the novel Psion continuing the story of Cat, a telepath who is losing his telepathic abilities. It was alright but you could tell when reading it that it was a sequel. A good story should be able to stand up on its own even if it is a sequel.
6. Mother and Child - I have realised that several weeks have gone by without me attempting to read the last story. I do not think that I will bother.
