Fourth volume in the Raj Quartet
The final book in the quartet, with some endings being tied up. Post-war India is moving towards independence and partition, and not all together smoothly. Perron returns, with his path once again crossing with that of Rowan, Merrick, the Laytons and the Nawab of Mirat.
I have really enjoyed this group of books, it has been an insightful look at India, making it seem more real through the realistic characters. I have Staying On left to read.
