Wow Canada!: Exploring this Land from Coast to Coast
5 journalers for this copy...
One of the Best all about Canada books out there.
It is a wonderfull book for all ages. My local library just can't seem to keep it in stock.
From Booklist
In this illustrated, informational travel story, a family tours the Canadian provinces from British Columbia to Newfoundland and back across the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Yukon. As Mom, Dad, Guy, and Rachel observe the landscape, visit museums and tourist sites, and exchange banter, Guy provides the first-person text, which is supplemented by journal entries, facts from Mom and Dad, postcards from Rachel to her cat, slides, photos, e-mail messages to Guy's friend at home, and an ongoing cartoon saga illustrating the cross-country adventures of Bucko Beaver. Each province or territory is introduced with a two-page stylized map. This brightly illustrated introduction to Canada is informal, often humorous, and always informative. A large-format Canadian book that provides a flavorful alternative to the often bland travel books for children. Carolyn Phelan.
I'm offering this book as a Intl bookring.

Where to next?
Where to next?
Off to solskinn in Wien, Austria when I can get to the post office!
Sorry for the lateness...it's on its way!!!
Thanks so much for making a bookring out of this, Ktbean, and many thanks to UnwrittenLibra for posting it over to Europe! The book looks GREAT!
A great book, more a photo album than actually an educating book. I wish I could keep it, haha. Seriously, I will try to find another copy of this for myself. Sorry for having held on to it for so long - I liked it too much to let go of it any earlier, I guess.

Wow Canada! A lovely heavy envelope arrived today, covered in absolutely gorgeous Austrian stamps with pandas and clown fish and flowers and a lake scene. So much more beautiful than one of those boring preprinted labels they stick on at the post office if you don't ask for pretty stamps! I shall be casually leaving this book round my living room for the children to discover themselves before it gets put on my book ring shelf to wait its turn. It looks wonderful. Thank you Solskinn!
I'm really sorry I've kept this for so long. I knew I'd had it a long time, but was shocked when I was updated my profile and noticed it's been here since April! I read about 3/4 of it a couple of months ago, after the summer holiday, and then put it to one side and haven't picked it up again. I'll try to finish it in the next couple of days and send it on to the next in the ring. Please accept my heartfelt apologies for holding it up Ktbean, and the others who are waiting to read it, PRCS and Chantie.
