It took me three goes to get into this book, and I am glad I perservered. It was emotional and thought provoking, however it just wasn't the 'book of the year' I was expecting. Perhaps I waited too long to read it and was clouded by the hype that went with it.

It was still a good read and one I would recommend to anyone who likes a strong story with believable characters and lots of inner messages included that make us look at ourselves a little closer.
