The kind of things people will do for fame always interest me, and I'm sure the 2007 edition is even more spectacular. An interesting read with cool pictures.

We discovered the book after a showing of "The Darjeeling Limited" at the Students' Union run Cinemania and decided that it would only be fitting to take the book on a similar journey.
The following weekend, we embarked on a roadtrip to Vancouver across the recently opened Coquihalla. We discovered a particularily enjoyable way to appreciate this literary work: a Price-Is-Right-like game where contestants guess on world records instead of consumer products. Contestants guessing closest to the actual record (going over was allowed) were rewarded with intra-car praise and the first guess on the following record. Who knew someone could eat that many powdered donuts in three minutes without licking your lips!?
Our final destination was an evening of mischief and mayhem with Marilyn Manson. But that was not to be the end of our experience with this book. We saddled up the horses and headed back across British Columbia to the mountain town of Golden. With the highway closed due to avalanche warnings, we were forced to stop for an early dinner at the ABC Country Restaurant. It was at this point that we parted ways with our travel companion, the Guinness Book of World Records 1994.
