Thank you so much for sending this one my way. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and will definitely pass it on. I enjoyed that the story was more grittier and that Grafton has managed to keep my attention this far into her series.

This one, and B, would be my favourites of the series so far, I think. G sees two stories running parallel really, with a case Kinsey is hired for, while someone is hired for a job on her! (And I do mean the hitman...not the other...in case you were confused!! Hee hee.) Takes a bit of processing to get one story straight, but Grafton still weaves it well.

I feel like Kinsey, and Grafton, are getting bolder as the series goes along. At the beginning she was tough, but she still seemed a bit straight and narrow to me. I feel like she is break out of that more and more. And the wit, and throw away funny lines are increasing!!

This is now ready to start it's journey on the Aussie Grafton Alphabet Bookray Lists, and I will pass it onto TramGirl tomorrow night when we meet for dinner!

Got this off Hawkette when we caught up for dinner last night (23/6), part of the Aussie Grafton Alphabet Bookray series. Will get around to it probably sometime next week, also got F so will read them in order.

I really enjoyed this book, and agree with Hawkette that it is one of the best. Certainly kept me guessing with everything that was going on, plus some romance (or rather bedroom action) is always a good thing! This and F will be off to Fushmush hopefully tomorrow (Tuesday).

Received last night from Tramgirl at my Birthday Trivia evening. Thanks for travelling all the way to Sydney just to drop these books off *G*. Hope you had good time last night and a lovely time sailing on Sydney Harbour today!

Another fast and fantastic read from Ms. Grafton. They are getting more complicated with two plot lines to keep track in G is for Gumshoe. Grafton manages to juggle the two story lines quite well, although we have large chunks of the novel that only deal with one plot line. There are some great one-liners that made me giggle. Grafton really has a way with words.

Does anyone else find these novels very hard to review. There are so many things I want to write about, but I must refrain from fear of spoiling the book for others. I'll just have to talk to Hawkette on MSN instead.

I'm really enjoying this series. Thanks Hawkette for organising the Grafton ring! We all owe you a drink (and I'll buy you one, or maybe two, this weekend at the AUSTRALIAN CONFERENCE! hurrah!).

Ooops got this at the BookCrossing Trivia night and have been neglectful about journalling. Started reading today. Another exciting plot by Grafton. Books A - F represent a year in Kinsey's life. With G we are now onto her 33rd year starting on her 33rd birthday!

Yes fushmush find them very hard to review as not wanting to give anything away of the plot. This is what I remember, her new apartment and meeting Diatz and I am sure I remember something about LaRue but cannot recall what. Oh well will keep reading!

Wow.... hard to put down as you follow her around trying to solve the crimes and work out the answers and not get shot herself!

Very exciting but unfortunately I read it a little while ago so cannot remember much except I know I had read it before but still wanted to read and find out everything....

But like you fushmush don't want to say too much more to give it away... onto skyring!

Hmmm. There is a beaten up Bug on the cover - reminds me of you, BookFrog - and I wonder to myself whether this is from someone having a go at our Kinsey, or is it just the normal abrasion and scuffle from the Santa Teresa Safeway?

Ms Millhone is a tiger for paperwork. How does she manage to have so many adventures, earn a living and write 10 000 words an evening? Hmmmmm.

Respectfully submitted by Pete, who notices that the cover has come loose from the spine binding on this paperback from Las Cruces. Naughty inkognitoh, to read this book in bathtub by candlelight with bottle of red!

Received in the mail today thanks to Skyring. I've got quite a few in front of this, but I think we all have so much to read that hopefully nobody will mind if I have it for awhile. And it took me forever to find the BCID on the side! :-)

These books are just getting better and better! The funny lines are increasing, and the plots are getting more involved. I love them! :-) And as usual I had no idea how things were going to end up. I'm building up a pile here for luckaye, so this will head out when I have it all together.

Another great Grafton. She knows how to tell a story and thankfully she had been consistently good all the way to P :)

Thanks to those before me on this ring and enjoy to those who come after.

Sending on to charmedwitch23.
