Journal Entry 1 by LeighBCD on Sunday, March 16, 2003
This has been given to me by my mum. I have always been a fan of Michael J Fox - I am a true child of the 80s, I grew up on Family Ties and Back to the Future. It is extremely sad that he is struck down by disease at such a young age yet he says that he is a "lucky man". I will be interested to read this book.

Journal Entry 2 by LeighBCD on Wednesday, July 2, 2003
Michael J Fox is a real inspiration and a bit of a childhood hero. That he has found such inner peace is amazing. This is a very candid, straight-forward biography - as one reviewer remarked, it is refreshingly free of "ghost writers" - it really feels like he speaking to you. A very moving story - I am glad I read this.

This book is now on the way to allbookedup as part of a trade - I hope the story of Michael J Fox inspires you too.

Released on Wednesday, July 02, 2003 at Sent to a fellow Bookcrosser in Royal Mail, England United Kingdom.

Mailed to allbookedup from the post office on Nightingale Lane, Clapham.

Just received the book from FionaJ. The timing could not have been more perfect; I'm off to a business trip in Colorado in a couple of days and will take Lucky Man to keep me company on the long flight from Europe.

This book has really touched me ... also a child of the 80's, a biography freak and also somebody "blessed" with an illness, I found it amazing how Michael J. Fox has learnt to deal with his P.D. It was also interesting to see behind the curtains and experience first-hand on how he lived through his most famous times.
I have read it for the lifetime challenge (5 books = 1 country) for CANADA.

It took me very long to read this book because my english is not perfect. But I made it! My husbands mum has PD an she tries to hide it like Michael did it first. Perhaps I will buy a german version for her. It was hard for her to hear that our neighbours asked if she is alcoholic because her hand is shaking.

It was very interesting to read about the life of Michael J. Fox and his PD. I did not realize that he did not make that much movies. I think I saw them all. When I was younger, I was a real fan of him.
