The Glass Castle: A Memoir
4 journalers for this copy...
This one came from paperbackswap.com. I haven't read it yet, but I have acquired another copy, and since this is the nicer, condition-wise, of the two, I will pass it along first!
I hope you enjoy the book. I would be thrilled if you made a journal entry!
Best wishes.

On it's way to fellow BookCrossing member...
Excellent! Received today, back on the East Coast!
Awesome!
In the beginning of this book, I went back and forth from "how terrible!" to, well, maybe it's not so bad... they're happy, healthy, and bright.... but then I went back, rather quickly to "how terrible" and didn't return until the children were safely out of Welch.
This book is beautifully written, smart, and funny. As a teacher, it's a reminder that parents don't intentionally neglect or abuse their children. They are sick, and need as much help as the children themselves. It was also a reminder that these abused children will defend their own to the bitter end.
I don't often give books a 10, but I couldn't put it down. What a great way to end my spring break!
