A hardcover book containing cartoons from the Lil Abner comic strip, with an introduction by Harlan Ellison about the meaning of this thread about Shmoos - cute little creatures with political and social implications.

I enjoyed this book but it seems wasted sitting on my bookshelf to be read once every 5 or 10 years, so I'm sending it off to find more readers to enjoy it.

In response to the release which seemed bothered by books left in women's bathrooms at IBM, I released several books in the hallways today. ;) This one is in building 705, 2nd floor, in the center area that opens above the lobby.

Stumbled on this book on my travels upstate. What an interesting find! I had never heard of the Shmoos till that day when they came up in conversation over lunch, only for me to come across this book a few hours later. :)
