I absolutely loved the movie and am planning to read this book this week while at the AWP Conference and leave it somewhere in New York. I'll make proper release notes afterwards if it doesn't get picked up first!

Wow. I'm really glad I read this. I started reading it last Monday morning on the Metro from Virginia into Washington DC then finished reading it on the Amtrack train up to New York (our train hit a shopping cart and it caused delays enough for me to finish the book!)

Even though I knew the major twists of the story (having seen the movie) this book still held my attention. I loved the writing style, the details, and the intimacy. It was blunt and in-your-face, yet still mysterious as well. This was a fantastic read I'd recommend to anyone who wants an enjoyable yet thought-provoking read.
