This story was an unexpected surprise. The world was unique, but not so different that every facet had to be explained. The secondary characters were as interesting to get to know as the primary characters. And the mystery was never overshadowed by the hint of romance.
I've searched every bookstore in my area for the next in the series with no luck. I may have to resort to ordering it online.
