This book made its way further to this weeks' meetup in York. I took it to send it to some interested readers in Germany. I already have a copy on my tbr mount.

Emily Bronte (1818-1848) published only one novel, Wuthering Heights (1847), a story of doomed love and revenge. But that single work places has its place among the masterpieces of English literature. Some of her best lyrics are also rated with the best in English poetry.

Description
Lockwood, the new tenant of Thrushcross Grange on the bleak Yorkshire moors, is forced to seek shelter one night at Wuthering Heights, the home of his landlord. There he discovers the history of the tempestuous events that took place years before: of the intense passion between the foundling Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, and her betrayal of him. Wanted to send the book on a trip to Germany. Asked a few times on the BC forum. Unfortunately, only one person was interested and later pulled out again. I hope the book will find a new reader soon.
