A very engaging book, though I became mightily annoyed with the narrator. Partly the fact that "he" is death and partly the bulletin-style interruptions which, yeah, ok, I could make a convincing interpretation of if I had to write an essay on this book for an exam, but, hey, I finished school and I prefer to do my reading at my own pace, and, frankly, until I learned to "ignore" them I wanted to hurl the book across the room every time.
Anyway. Still a pretty good read, and it seems a lot of people want to lay their hands on this book, so I'm sending it off as a rabck.

Thank you ragsrobin! Your package arrived in Kentucky today along with eight others! The generosity of BookCrossers had me so thrilled that I was dancing around my kitchen.
My sister-in-law recommended this book, and now that I've read your journal entry, I'm wondering if I had done something that made her mad! I'm going to add it to the TBR stack and get it traveling again as soon as possible. I'll let you know if it gets hurled at any point.

I couldn't leave this book alone. The narration didn't bother me much after the first few chapters, and I actually liked the foreshadowing. It provided what seemed like the proper sense of dread. And I was still weeping at the end. So... no book hurling for me.
Thank you again ragsrobin/mirthful for sharing this book with me. I'll look for a good way to send it traveling again very soon.
