lginder's COZY CULINARY BOOK BOX

Simple rules to follow:

1. Plan on keeping the box NO LONGER than 2 weeks

2. Take as many books as you like as long as you replace the same number

3. Only cozy culinary related (in title) mystery paperbacks from the years 2000 to present are acceptable

4. This IS NOT A COOK BOOK BOX

5. If the box is to small or is ripped please replace

6. Make a journal entry with this BCID for the books you're taking and putting in for others to see

7. Duplicate authors are fine, duplicate titles are not. As long as a title is not currently in the box it's fine (make sense?).

8. PM the next in line for their mailing address

Went to the PO this morning on the way to work and found the book box waiting for me. I will take a look tonight if I have a chance and let you know what I will take and what I will be adding to the box. This box is FUN!

Ok, I had 3 bookboxes & a ring all arrive the same week so it took me a bit of time to get thru it. So sorry!!
I ended up reading some of the books that I took out and putting them back in for another reader to enjoy!
In the end I added Bon Bon Voyage by Fairbanks and took out Sugar Cookie Murder by Fluke

The box arrived this morning albeit a little worse for wear. One side was split open along a top edge. After checking with the previous journal entries, I still can't say for sure that any books fell out or are missing.

A new box is definitely in order and I have plenty for choosing. I'm planning to have the box ready for travel by the end of the week.

And now for my turn to dive in: Yummy!

Well, I had a great time in the box!

I thought I'd have more ready for a good exchange but I was only able to trade one:

- I took out On What Grounds; and

- added in A Healthy Place to Die.

The box has been replaced and mailed today. It's now heading to Donduckandy in PA.

Received this bookbox on Thursday 3/20/08. But have been to tied up with easter baking and cooking to do the journal. I will be taking about 4 books out. I think this bookbox should have more variety in it. Too many books by same authors. I will try to put some different authors in when I replace books. Tanks for sending out the bookbox.

Rec'd this box Monday but it has been sitting in a corner ever since I opened it (just way too busy this week!)As it stands I only have 1 book to put in the box right now due to duplicate titles already in the box. It looks like alot of these are also original box starter titles. I'm going to see if I can find some replacements this weekend (actually my son makes his 1st Communion on Sunday so it'll have to be next week). Wish me luck shopping.

LGinder advised me to take my time before sending to Ramson. Finished a few books to put in the box so there were no duplicates.
