Wuthering Heights (Penguin Classics)

On my top 10 list of books...which seems to be expanding all the time.
Wuthering Heights is the ultimate revenge story. I have read and reread this book several times because it is so great. I could feel the bleakness of the Yorkshire moors, and even though I've read it so many times, each time I am drawn into the utter angst of it all. It is one of the best in the realm of books.

I have heard this book described as a love story or romance. I'm not sure I took it this way. I didn't feel the love showing through these people, but I definitely felt their evil side, hatred and ultimate desire for revenge. I'm glad I read this book but don't think I'll include it on my list of favorites.

Going through My Bookshelf to work out which of 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die I already have, I discovered I have 3 copies of this little classic! That's what happens when you don't pay attention I guess :) So I'm offering this one up to anyone who wants it; you can track the travels of my other copy here.
