Amateur jockey and pilot Lord Henry Grey gets a job in bloodstock transport: moving horses by air. Henry is not flying, just setting up temporary stalls and caring for the horses. One trip takes him to Italy, when he meets the beautiful Gabriella. But some things are odd. Some of the helpers don't seem to be comfortable with horses. Then a colleague vanishes without warning. Then Grey discovers that both his predecessors went missing in mysterious circumstances--and he could be next.
