Families have secrets they hide even from themselves ...
It should have been an ordinary birth, the start of an ordinary happy family. But the night Dr David Henry delivers his wife's twins is a night that will haunt five lives for ever.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel which explores the reasons why people make the decisions they do, and the consequences which arise. A page-turner of a read that reminded me in a way of Jodi Picoult's novels.The picture shows Kim Edwards, and is taken from the site dedicated to the novel.
