This was an interesting book. My apologies for keeping it as long as I did but it was read by two others while here.

I've sent it on today to Briz-Cowgirl. I hope it arrives safely.

Really enjoyed reading this one, thanks bluesneak for this bookray.
The story was gripping, once I got to a certain point I just had to keep reading until I finished in the wee hours of the morning!
The characters were well fleshed out by the author, it was easy to feel empathy for all involved. Very interesting story.

I loved this book! It is beautifully written and really poignant. I loved reading it, it was really easy to get into, but the only problem I had with the book was the ending. It was very unsatisfying, and had too many loose ends. I'd like to see Rosemary play a role in the ending - the fact that she and Jack just up and leave, never to be in the book again, makes their role seem ultimately pointless. Somehow I feel that the relationship between Paul and Phoebe could have been developed further at the end of the book, and it ended on a stunted note, very abruptly. I didn't like that at all. That's the only problem that I had with the book. Otherwise a great read!
