8 out of 10

I enjoy historical fiction, and this book was no exception. Jane Austen plays less of a role than I had originally expected. I was interested in the descriptions of the customs, fashions, and class differences of this time period, and found the book rich with detail. I thought the ending was a bit "convenient," but enjoyed the story overall nonetheless.

Still reserved and will be sending along soon.
