I quite enjoyed this though it's a bit of a slog towards the end - then again there are two more in the trilogy so I'd better grit my teeth and buckle down!

A fantastic book. This is probably the best trilogy I've ever read and this book excells ! There is a good reason it won the booker price. So well written, I really got sucked into the book and read it in one sitting !
